The United Horizons organization offers a renewal scholarship to a recipient who graduates from high school in one of the 32 departments of  Colombia, South America. The scholarship focuses on providing a path for a student who does not have the financial means to attend college and attending college will have an impact on their life.

ELIGIBILITY

  – A citizen who has graduated from high school in one of the 32 departments in Colombia, South America
  – Candidate must currently have at least a weighted grade point average 85%
  – Candidate must be planning to attend a post-secondary institution or university leading to a four-degree degree.
  – The candidate must demonstrate a financial need that cannot be met for go to collage.

CRITERIA
  – The candidate will submit a letter describing how attending college will affect his life.
  – Exceptional academic achievements
  – Meaningful participation in school and community activities PROCEDURE
