Yudith Vanesa Rengifo Borja

“The Unlimit Horizons University Scholarship has given me an opportunity to strive for my dreams without limitations. I plan on becoming an interior designer with the goal of providing clients with not only aesthetically pleasing living environments but managing spaces that promote sustainable environments. And once I graduate, I plan to one day pass on this blessing of a scholarship to another who also has a need and also achieves their dream“

Yudith, who goes by Vanesa, is a recent graduate of the public school system of the Republic of Colombia in the city of Bogota, Colombia. She resides in the Engativa sector of Bogota, Colombia with her mother, grandmother, and older sister. While in primary school she participated and competed competitively in Volleyball and Intercollegiate Athletics. During her journey in Intercollegiate Athletics, she received medals and certificates for placing. Her athletic journey was highlighted by a first-place performance in the shot put.

The scholarship has provided Vanesa the opportunity to attend the Universidad el Boque in Bogota. Vanesa has chosen to pursue her university degree in Architecture with a concentration in interior designs. The university experience is broadening Vanesa with the world which is so much bigger and more diverse than she knew. It is offering her the opportunity to meet various people of different cultures and be respectful of our differences in an ever-changing world.
